Rustic home plans have an organic look and feel to them. Materials used are mostly wood and stone. Houses could be extravagant, or simple, however, the  style doesn’t come cheap. Quality over quantity is my motto, although we all have our needs. Large families need a lot of space

Exposed beams and vaulted ceilings are common with these plans, and a stone fireplace is a must if you’re living in the country. Heavy corbels typically decorate the exterior, and sometimes the interior as well

Roof pitches can be low, however, steep slopes tell the story, and offer extra space for storage or as a bonus room
