Adobe house plans
Adobe house plans are built with sun dried bricks made from a mixture of clay and grass, the system worked extremely well in the many parts of the world, however, we think of adobe homes in the southwest of the United States, New Mexico and Mexico as well
The method worked because rain is infrequent. The blocked are cured, however, can degrade over time when exposed to rain. Today, there are adobe structures still standing after hundreds of years
The blocks are structural so there’s no need for additional support for the walls. They can easily support the roof load
Adobe is rarely used today, although we often refer to southwest homes as adobe. Anyone using the building method today is doing it to save money or because it’s interesting. If you really want an adobe home, keep the design simple, as adobe blocks are cumbersome and will not easily form to a curved or angled wall
